EQUIPMENT
Older images were taken using a C11 OTA or, later, a 12.5 RCOS RC mounted on an AP900GTO. Images were taken from the light polluted area of Camarillo, CA. I initially used an ST8E and later an STL-6303, both using the CS SBIG filters. Our new observatory, “Stonehenge Observatory, NM” is located in Mayhill, NM. At 7200’ elevation, and sitting 3 stories high, we have the darkest skies and best seeing conditions available. We currently use a 20” RCOS RC, Paramount ME mount, STL-11000 with the CS SBIG filters. We also use the Pyxis 3” rotator which has been recently upgraded and the AO-L unit from SBIG.
